525 Power Tracks Music Submission Guidelines
and Information |

We
are continuously looking for new music to add to
the 525 Power Tracks playlist and we welcome
your submissions |
Our genre:
Rock, Hard Rock and Metal. Of course there are tons of
sub-genres and we love them all!
Our
philosophy:
If it ROCKS, we play it! Regardless if a band is labeled
or not. We pride ourselves in finding unsigned and/or
indie artists and introducing their music to our
world-wide audience.
Submission Rules
There are some rules, and ultimately we will decide if
your music fits our format closely enough to make it on
the air. Please keep our format in mind when you submit
music to
525 Power Tracks. If you're not sure, take some
time and listen to the station or go through our
playlist under the Request Tunes tab of our website.
This will give you an idea of what we play and if the
band's music fits our format. We are also interested in
hearing the whole CD rather than just the one single
being released from that CD. Again, if it ROCKS we play
it!

For submission in this format we request
192k mp3 files (256k OR BETTER HIGHLY
RECOMMENDED). Please note - we cannot work
with other file types, lower than 192k, or
variable bit rates. You must be verifiable as an
artist, so include your MySpace music page
address, or your bands main website address.

If you have a radio distribution list, please feel free
to add
525 Power Tracks mailing address for future
releases.
Listeners
We already
know our listeners have great taste in music and ROCK
like no others. That's why you're here right?! If
there's a band you think we should be playing, please
don't keep them a secret! Click on the Contact Us tab in
our menu and let us know. Include the band's website
and/or MySpace page links and we will be happy to review
the music and take the necessary steps in acquiring the
band's music.

Bands:
If we are playing your music, We ask that you ad a sexy
525 Power Tracks banner like this one or our website
link to your website and MySpace page let your fans know
where your music can be heard!
We go above and beyond to help bands get the recognition
they deserve because we love and believe in the music
and this genre. AND we know how hard it is to make it in
this business! We have an on going monthly Poll for
Listener's Choice Band of the Month, 3 Featured Artist
of the Month, Contests and of course Artist Interviews.
If your band is included in any of the above, we invite
and ask that you as the band and your street teamers get
involved to help us spread the word.

Bands cont...We have a
great request feature on the station where our listeners
and your fans can request your music to be played. As
long as the song hasn't recently just played, the
requested song will queue up for automatic airplay. This
is an awesome feature we offer to our listeners but
please keep in mind that our listeners like the variety
of music we offer. In other words, please don't abuse
this feature to the point where we are sick of hearing
that same song every day. No matter how great your band
is, we will not hesitate taking the music off of the
playlist. Of course we don't want to do this but we have
to think of the integrity of the station.
YES, 525 Power Tracks IS Legal
We pay music royalties to
ASCAP,
BMI,
SESAC, and
SoundExchange through our association with
LoudCity.
If your independent status does not include an
affiliation with these recording industry agencies,
please know that
525 Power Tracks is an awesome medium
to get your music heard by thousands upon thousands of
world-wide listeners.
